With regard to getting into an orchestra I can't think of anything more political. I am sorry to say that it is not just ability but connections that will get you a seat.<BR/><BR/>The job market is the worst in history. Many people can't get a job. It's not you it's the economy. You at least have a job now and a place to live, right?<BR/><BR/>Worrying about something never makes it better if the inevitable happens (which it usually doesn't).<BR/><BR/>Finally, from experience I have found that whenever anything great has happened to me there was always a period immediately before that was almost unbearable.
